The ISP Directory was born on the idea
of having a concise and comprehensive list of all South African
ISP's.
The idea was not to have a directory like others available
on the Internet, but one that allowed for personal interaction.
A directory that allows you, the consumer, to comment and
rate your ISP on their level of service and professionalism,
thus creating true customer awareness for the ISP concerned
by informing other members of the public of their service
levels.
Open discussion and communication represents the core of
the Internet and the power it holds, so why not embrace
these two values in a market that is so mundane to our every
day business activities and the centre of our personal enjoyment.
Why register as an ISP on the ISP Directory?
Good question. Registering on the
ISP Directory allows your
company to have a presence in South Africa's most comprehensive
ISP Directory. Further
more it provides a forum in which your customers get to interact
with your company and inform you of their satisfaction with
your company's service. After all, there is no better advertising
than word of mouth.
What is an ISPD Approved website
developer?
Simply, an ISPD
Approved website developer is a person / company that develops

contacting previous clients and acquiring proof that the website
designed for them was indeed done by the company claiming
so, and that the level of service throughout the relationship
was one of professionalism.

that the website was designed by the person claiming to have developed
the website.
Confidentiality of rating an ISP
ISP Directory does
not allow the ISP you are rating to ever see who has rated them. The information
submitted when rating an ISP is not accessible to any third parties. The
collection of email addresses allows the ISP Directory
database to keep a record of who has rated which ISP and to ensure that
there are no duplicates in the Rating. The only identifying information
that is sent to the ISP is the comment. Comments are optional and you
may choose to remark accordingly.
ISPD and its team reserve the right to monitor the rating process
where they see fit.
